System requirements for building Apache Cassandra are as follows.

Operating System conforms to intra-mart Accel Platform Hardware conforms to intra-mart Accel Platform Required Memory Capacity (JVM) Recommended minimum configuration is 4GB or more. Required Disk Capacity 100MB or more (not including data capacity) JDK Java Platform, Standard Edition 7 Development Kit Warning
Required disk capacity is the size needed to install Apache Cassandra.In order to use the facility, disk capacity to accomodate the data which size is dependent on the environment and requirements would be needed.Timeout may probably occur depending on the Disk I/O speed of Apache Cassandra.For information about the timeout, please refer to [Cassandra Administrator Guide - Cassandra Operations].JDK assumes the following version.
