Overview ¶

Update procedures of e Builder are described in this section.

Warning

e Builder version that the following updates can be applied is 2012 Winter (8.0.2) or later.

Please obtain the Archive from the URL shown below.

How to Check Version ¶

How to check current version of e Builder main body ¶

Select [Help]→[About e Builder] from the toolbar in eclipse.

Select e Builder icon.

Check [Version] column from the list.

(The figure below shows the example when e Builder version is 2012 Winter (8.0.2))

How to check current version of business skeleton ¶

Select [Help]→[About e Builder] from the toolbar in eclipse.

Select business skeleton icon.

Check [Version] column from the list.

(The figure below is the example when the business skeleton version is 2.0.1)

How to check version of e Builder main body at initial installation time ¶

Select [Help]→[About e Builder] from the toolbar in eclipse.

Select [Installation Detail] button.

Refer to [Installed Software] tab and

check the [Version] column in [intra-mart e Builder for Accel Platform] row from the list.

(The figure below is the example when e Builder version is 2012 Winter (8.0.2))

Update from Update Site ¶

Select [Help]→[About e Builder] from the toolbar in eclipse.

Enter the URL below to the text box of [Work Subject] field.

http://www.intra-mart.jp/eclipse/update/site/eBuilder/8.0.x/

List of features that can be installed are displayed,

and so put check marks on [e Builder] and [Business Skeleton], and proceed to next.

Installation detail is displayed.

Just proceed to the next step.

License confirmation screen is displayed.

When you put a check mark on [I agree to usage condition terms] and press [Finish] button, installation will be executed.

Update from Archive ¶

Select [Help]→[New Software Installation] from the toolbar of eclipse.

Press [Add] button besides [Work Subject] field.

Press [Archive] button.

File selection screen is displayed, and so select the subject archive file.

List of features that can be installed are displayed,

and so put check marks on [e Builder] and [Business Skeleton], and proceed to next.

Installation detail is displayed.

Just proceed to the next step.

License confirmation screen is displayed.

When you put a check mark on [I agree to usage condition terms] and press [Finish] button, installation will be executed.

[Supplement] In case you update to 2013 Autumn version or later, please use JDK7.¶

From 2013 Summer version, Java development environment (JDK) that can be used is JDK7 only. [*] JDK6 was abolished.

Therefore, JDK to be used for development should be set to JDK7.

Please do the setting based on Setting for Java Development Environment (JDK) and Java Execution Environment (JRE).

Libraries provided by Accel Platform are compiled by JDK7 on Accel Platform 2013 Autumn or later.

Therefore, JRE to be used for debug server startup should be set to JRE7 or JDK7.

Please do the setting based on [Debug Server Startup] of Debug Server Build.
