Select the type of database to be connected from [Connection
Profile Types].
Enter connection profile name to [Name] item.
Arbitrary input can be entered to the description item.
After input, press [Next].
When a screen to specify the driver and connection details is
opened, select the JDBC driver.
If JDBC driver has not been registered,
press the driver add button which is located on the right of
select box for driver selection.
New Driver Definition dialog is displayed.
Enter the name of JDBC driver to [Driver Name], and select the
[Jar List] tab.
For the [Driver Name], arbitrary name can be specified.
On this screen JDBC driver (jar file) used for database
connection is registered.
jar files that have been already set are unnecessary. Select
them and delete them by pressing the [Remove JAR/Zip] button.
Thereafter, press the [Add JAR/Zip] button, and open the file
selection dialog.
Please select the jar file or zip file that includes JDBC
driver to be used, and press the [Open] button.
If multiple jar files or zip files that include JDBC driver
are needed, please repeat this step multiple times.
When you complete the registration of jar file, press the [Properties]
tab,
and enter the connection information for use by the JDBC
driver.
Since this screen is for setting the JDBC driver itself, items
are used for template for setting the connection information.
Connection information which will be actually used as database
connection profile will be set on another screen described later.
After you complete the entry, press the [OK] button and close
the New Driver Definition dialog.
After the completion of driver definition, please enter the
connection setting for the connection profile which is created by actually
using the driver.
Example of input for connecting to PostgreSQL is shown below.
After completing the input, press the [Next] button, and
display the confirmation screen.
Check that the input contents are correct, and complete the
addition of connection profile by pressing the [Finish] button.
Connection profile that was added is added to the list. Select
the added profile, press [Next], and proceed with the wizard.
